Just in Case You Missed Anything ........ vol. 9

- The Court Yard Hounds (aka: 2/3rds of the Dixie Chicks) released a new EP this month called Sunshine. It features a nice folk tune, co-written and produced by Ryan Adams called "Are You Man Enough?".

- Ryan also makes an appearance on the 2nd album by alt-country songstress Krista Polvere. Her album- Reservoir Drive came out on June 2nd, and features Ryan singing and playing guitar on the first single - "Looking for Love". Apparently the two became friends while living in New York City. Below is a link to an article where Krista talks about the making of the record, and working with Ryan:

- A couple months ago, Capital Records posted a list of upcoming releases through the end of 2013. On October 15th, a new Glyn Johns produced album from Ryan Adams was listed. Since the news of this leaked, Ryan has said that the info was false, and he's still working on new material.

- Throughout May and June, Ryan's been busy in the studio with production and recording. He's posted quite a few pictures on his twitter page showing him hanging out and recording with bass player/producer - Don Was, ace drummer - Kenny Aronoff, Mike Viola (The Candy Butchers), Liz Phair, and producer - George Drakoulias. The picture above was also posted online and shows him recording with the same guitar used on Heartbreaker!............ this all begs the question: What the hell is he building in there? (see below)
