Just in Case You Missed Anything Vol. 16

Yet another new EP from Ryan Adams is on the horizon. Vampires is the latest installment of the Pax-Am monthly single series, and is coming out on October 28th. Unfortunately it's sold out through the website, but will likely be made available through other outlets including iTunes in the near future.

For those of you in Texas, it's not too late to sign up for free tickets to Ryan's Austin City Limits taping on October 22nd. GO HERE NOW!!

On November 18th, one of America's finest record labels - Bloodshot Records is putting out a two-disc compilation called While No One Was Looking: Toasting 20 Years of Bloodshot Records. The collection features 4 Ryan Adams songs covered by Blitzen Trapper, Superchunk, Nikki Bluhm and the Gramblers, and Ivan & Alyosha; plus a ton of other great cover songs by Alejandro Escovedo, Jon Langford, Old 97's, Neko Case, Justin Townes Earle, The Bottle Rockets, and more. Anyway it's a great concept for a record, and definitely worth checking out. You can pre-order the album now through Bloodshot's website. And listen to Blitzen Trapper covering "To Be Young" at Rolling Stone.

Several new US and UK tour dates have been added in December and February! (see tour dates to the right --->)

Ryan Adams and the Shining made a couple of tv appearances in the last few weeks. On October 2nd, he did a very moving rendition of "My Wrecking Ball" on the Conan O'Brien Show. You can watch it HERE. Also on September 30th , the band performed "Gimme Something Good" on the Ellen Degeneres Show. (See Video Below)

And finally, if you haven't heard yet, Butch Walker has been opening shows for the band on their current tour. He has a new album due out on February 3rd called Afraid of Ghosts. As you may have suspected, the album was produced by Ryan Adams and Mike Viola at Pax-Am Studios! Anyway the album also features appearances from Bob Mould and Johnny Depp. Check out the killer new single below:
