Just in Case You Missed Anything Vol. 18

Ryan's next 7" single - "No Shadow" and will be released on January 13th via Pax-Am Records. This one features 2 collaborations with actor - Johnny Depp, plus a third song which he says is about being stoned in a 7-11 parking lot. It's available now for pre-order through: Pax-AMWaterloo Records, and eventually iTunes, Amoeba Records, and other fine independent record shops.

The last Ryan Adams single - "Do You Laugh When You Lie?" is now available for download on iTunes

Besides all the new singles coming out, there's plenty of other cool new merch available through his website at http://ryanadams.shopfirebrand.com. Also at recent shows they've been selling these festive xmas sweaters.

The 57th Annual Grammy Award nominees have been announced, and Ryan Adams is up for Best Rock Album (Ryan Adams), Best Rock Performance, and Best Rock Song ("Gimme Something Good")! This marks the first time he's been nominated since 2002! Other artists he'll be duking it out against include U2, Jack White, Beck, Paramore, and Arctic Monkeys. The show will air on February 8th.

But even more exciting, Ryan's epic performance on Austin City Limits from last year is set to air on PBS on January 24th! During the taping, he performed a monster 28 song two set show (half with the band and half solo acoustic). Below are some sneak peaks of "This House is Not for Sale" and "Dirty Rain":

Strand of Oaks (aka Tim Showalter) is an exciting artist from Philadelphia deeply rooted in folk rock, and indie rock; but with plenty of Crazy Horse-inspired guitar freak-outs. His new album Heal is pretty awesome and will probably be on my favorite albums of 2014 list.  Recently on WXPN Radio, he stopped by and was asked to play one of his favorite songs of 2014. He chose "My Wrecking Ball" from the new Ryan Adams album. Check it out below:

And finally, I'll leave you with this recent clip from a show in San Francisco. Jello Biafra (legendary punk singer from the Dead Kennedys and a hero of Ryan's) joined the band on stage for a spot-on performance of the Plastic Surgery Disasters classic - "Moon Over Marin"
